Hi I’m Max,

I’ve only been involved with ‘Old Cars’ since a trip to England with a good friend of mine Ross Kelly.

My first ‘Old Car’ was a small MG but I soon decided that I was more suited to larger cars :-)…. and decided to purchase a 1923Vauxhall  OD 23/60 as a strong and roomy car for driving and long distance touring.

Since then it became a bit of a passion and I’ve really enjoyed long distance International rallies. I have done Peking to Paris in 2010 with Carl, then London To Cape Town in Jan 2012 with James; South America with James;  Bangkok to Helsinki…. and now from Kolkata to Bangkok via Bhutan; thailand; Myanmar; Laos with Julie.

I must also give special thanks to Julie for all the support that she gives me; James for helping me prepare Penny; and to Lawrence for doing a sterling job in running our business while I travel and spend most of my time getting the car ready for these great trips.
